She successfully holds a certification in Leadership Development and Organizational Change from Cornell University. Prior to this, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Sciences from Zayed University, Dubai, fueling her extensive career. She possesses diverse skills including adeptness in print, visual, and radio media, and is known for her grace under pressure exemplified by her management of live historical coverage during national events.
Mrs. Atheer’s illustrious career encompasses roles such as Senior Editor and Main Broadcaster at Dubai Media Incorporated ‘DMI’ - News Center, where she currently leads as Editor-in-Chief for documentaries and orchestrates special coverage. From 2014 to 2019, her tenure as Senior Broadcaster, Editor, and Program Producer at Al Oula Radio affiliated with the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Revival Centre, showcased her creativity and connection with diverse audience through the creation of various radio programs.
She excelled in reporting local and international news as a Reporter and News Editor at Dubai Media Incorporated ‘DMI’ - News Center, representing the UAE on the global media stage. Her proficiency in reporting and broadcasting prepared her to be the first female in her team in Akhbar Al Emarat- Emirates News ‘DMI’ to report abroad, along her tenure as an editor to the same organization.
She also ventured into humanitarian media as a former board member in the media committee of the ‘Pink Caravan’, nationwide campaign objectives spreading awareness of breast cancer and raising funds for patients.
